Empower Her Village is a community-rooted nonprofit dedicated to supporting mothers who fall in the gap between government assistance and private affordability. We provide accessible, short-term services including childcare, household help, mental health support, and financial literacy so that mothers who do it all can rest, recover, and rise.
Our mission is to fill the cracks that traditional programs miss, ensuring that no mother faces burnout, overwhelm, or isolation alone. We believe that investing in mothers is investing in stronger families and communities. While our programs center on mothers, we welcome caregivers of all identities and backgrounds who care for children and need relief.
Research shows that when mothers lack rest and mental health support, it directly impacts their children’s well-being, long-term outcomes, and the stability of entire families. Yet, too many families are left out of traditional safety nets simply because they earn “too much” to qualify for help but too little to afford essential support. Empower Her Village is here to bridge that gap.
We operate through a unique voucher system that makes essential services accessible without adding financial stress. When government resources fall short, we step in partnering with trusted providers, generous donors, and engaged volunteers to make sure no mother is left behind. We also work alongside community organizations and local partners to refer families to public resources first and then provide help where gaps remain.

our founder saw countless women in the community doing everything parenting, working, caregiving with no support and no room to breathe. She witnessed how often mothers were overlooked by systems that only recognized the extremes: either too poor for private services or too “well-off” for public aid. Through her own experience, she discovered the profound impact of having just a few hours of help: the relief, the balance, the clarity it brought. That experience became a spark. Empower Her Village was created to extend that same support to others because every mother deserves to feel like she doesn’t have to do it all alone.
